“GOLDEN HEALER” Herbal Tea

Otherwise known as  Te Proleung Khmer តែព្រលឹងខ្មែរ, Khmer Chai, or Khmer Golden Milk

Description:

Inspired by a healing trip to the motherland in Summer of 2024, Golden Healer was conceived on Darozyl's 33rd solar return in August 2024 as an homage to the taste, the flavors, the essence (Cheate ជាតិ ) which are inextricably woven with the heart (Chett ចិត្ត) and the soul (Proleung ព្រលឹង) of Cambodia.*** (See Note)

Food is medicine, and many of the herbs in this blend are used in some way in dishes to skincare, and are synonymous with the workings of daily life. 

The intention behind the creation of this blend began as an exercise to process her life-giving trip to Cambodia, and resulted in receiving the spiritual message written below - an affirmation to keep living, loving, and healing with Proleung Khmer (Khmer soul and spirit). For the beauty of being Khmer is in the strength of our heart and soul, against all odds. And may the love through this plant medicine fill your heart and soul, too.

Your light shines like the rays of the Sun - boundless and infinite - for you are a channel and vessel of Divine Love in a world filled with suffering.

***Note: Khmer filmmaker Kalyanee Mam, wrote a beautiful essay called "ស្គាល់ មជាតិ Knowing Your Taste"  with an accompanying short film, "Taste of the Land" that discusses what it means to be Khmer - to truly know the land through the heart and essence as intuited through the senses. 

 Handcrafted with love, healing intentions, and the following plant allies:

turmeric, tulsi, gotu kola, burdock, oatstraw, calendula, lemongrass, makrut lime, pandan, ginger, clove, cinnamon, Kampot black pepper, infused with Golden Healer Quartz energy.

Directions: Steep 2 teaspoons per 8 oz. of boiling water for 3-5 minutes. For a stronger brew, use more herbs. For Khmer Golden Milk, steep with boiled milk of your choice and sweeten with honey. (Our favorite is a mixture of Oat milk and that real, creamy, full-bodied coconut milk. Yum!)
